About WESSA
Founded in 1926, WESSA (The Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa) is one of South Africa's oldest and largest non-government environmental organisations. WESSA is a Section 21 company registered as an Incorporated Association not for gain.
WESSA's vision is to be a highly effective and well-supported champion of the environment. To this end we implement high impact environmental and conservation projects in the focus areas of biodiversity and water, developing human capacity in these areas in order to promote public participation in caring for the Earth.
